What are Dual Studies?

In this course of study, you combine the master optician training with the Bachelor's degree programme in Ophthalmic Optics and Optometry. It is therefore an extra occupational study programme.

The training takes place at two study locations:

• During core studies (1st-4th semester), all courses with compulsory attendance take place at the ZVA-Bildungszentrum in Dormagen.
• During the specialisation studies (5th-7th semester), the majority of the courses with compulsory attendance also take place at the ZVA Bildungszentrum in Dormagen. Only some specific practical trainings as well as selected lectures are held at the university, Campus Jülich of FH Aachen.
