Module Business Management

The module Business Management (incl. Business Game), which is intended for the fifth standard semester in the Bachelor's degree programme, has some special features. It is a four-hour course.

The dates of the block course for the module (business game and Unternehmensgründung) can be found in CampusOffice. Participation in the block course is compulsory. The block course always takes place in the week BEFORE the start of the semester.

Due to the nature of the course, the number of participants must be limited. If the number of applicants exceeds the capacity, students who are dependent on attending the course at that time as part of their degree programme will be considered in advance.

Only those who have registered by the deadline and have been admitted to the course can take part in the course. In the summer semester 2024, registration is required in the period

01.03.2024, 10 a.m. until 06.03.2024, 11.59 p.m.

Business Management with business game

Participants register in Campus. Students are expected to come prepared to the first event.

Business Management with business game LUDUS

Registered students will find the required participant manuals on the Ilias server of the FH Aachen on their desk in the folder Business Management (incl. business game)/Handbücher. Full knowledge of the participant's manual is assumed by the start of the block course.

Business Management with business game TOPSIM

TOPSIM is a cloud-based system. After registration and admission, you will receive instructions on how to log in to the TOPSIM simulation. There you will also find the manuals. Analogous to Ludus, you should work through these in advance.

During the semester, you will have to complete partial performances that will be assessed and will count towards your final grade.

Unternehmensführung mit Unternehmensgründung

Participants register in Campus. They can form groups themselves, either in advance or at the beginning of the first block.

The groups are then assigned to the supervising professors, who act as the primary contacts for each group during the semester and support them in the creation of a business plan.

At the end of the semester, one business plan per group is submitted as a term paper and assessed by all professors.
