Inorganic chemistry

Welcome to the field of inorganic chemistry. Inorganic and hybrid materials play an important role in many areas and especially in sustainable chemistry. Therefore, our working group is interdisciplinary and application-oriented. The spectrum of topics in teaching and research ranges from coordination chemistry, solid state chemistry, organometallic chemistry, electrochemistry, catalysis to bioinorganic and nano chemistry. Various synthesis methods are used in our laboratory. In combination with suitable methods of surface functionalisation, new materials are created for use in sustainable chemistry.
