The tasks of the Examination Office include the administration of examination registrations and cancellations as well as the registration of grades, the issuing of certificates and the checking of admissions or non-admissions to examinations or final theses.
Here you can obtain important information on examination matters and certificates.
The Examination Office is also the office of the Examination Board.

Please hand in final theses in person at the Examination Office.
Opening hours:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9:30-11:00 a.m.
Monday-Thursday 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.
Changed opening hours:
Submission of final theses during the closing times from 27 December 2023 up to and including 7 January 2024. Final theses must be submitted digitally in advance during the closing times in order to meet the submission deadlines. On 8 January 2024, the final theses must then be submitted to the Examination Office in triplicate.

Below you will find all student-relevant documents from the Examination Office available for download. The documents are in PDF format and designed as forms, i.e. you can open them with Adobe Acrobat Reader, fill in all relevant fields digitally and then print them out and present them to the Examination Office.
Case of illness
Cancellations due to illness will only be accepted with the following form. Certificates of incapacity for work and other certificates are not sufficient. The form must be submitted in the original, either by registration or in person at the Examination Office. Email is not sufficient.

Examination Board
The Examination Board is responsible for
- Decisions in examination matters
- Compliance with Examination Regulations
- Appeals against deregistrations
- Appeals against the final failure of an examination
- Recognition of examination achievements when changing degree programmes, see also: Transfer students
