The student body of the faculty (Fachschaft) helps with:
- Representing students and their interests in committees and in all faculty and university matters
- Personal counselling during office hours or by email
- Administration of exam notes, old exams and learning materials
- First semester work (planning and realisation of the orientation and first semester week as well as the first semester trip, training of tutors, creation of first semester information booklets, etc.)
- Organisation of events by students for students

Please hand in final theses in person at the Examination Office.

Changed opening hours:
Submission of final theses during the closing times from 27 December 2023 up to and including 7 January 2024. Final theses must be submitted digitally in advance during the closing times in order to meet the submission deadlines. On 8 January 2024, the final theses must then be submitted to the Examination Office in triplicate.

Information for applicants from the German-speaking Community of Belgium
You want to apply for a bachelor's degree program at the FH Aachen and have obtained a certificate of completion of the upper secondary education of the German-speaking Community of Belgium?
In order to submit an application via our university portal, you must first have your certificate converted at the student office of FH Aachen. To do this, please send the scanned report with the individual grades shown by email to auslandszulassung(at)fh-aachen.de before submitting your online application.
After the evaluation you will receive your calculated average grade and a short instruction for online application by email.
Deadline to apply for certificate conversion (application NC degree programs): 10 July 2022.
University Applicants with Foreign Proofs of Education
Foreign as well as German university applicants with foreign proofs of education have to apply via uni-assist (https://my.uni-assist.de/) for almost all Bachelor's degree programmes offered at the FH Aachen.
Please take note of the posted application deadlines.
The Internationally Oriented Studies (IOS) on Jülich Campus will also be applied for via uni-assist from the winter semester 2021/22 (deadline 15 July).
