Language- and team-oriented

Engineers today are hardly "lone warriors" - they usually work in teams and often across national borders. That's why our students learn how to communicate successfully, negotiate in a targeted manner, work in a team-oriented manner and present themselves as well as their work results well. Technical English is an integral part of all our curricula as a foreign language teaching module. The faculty supports students who acquire not only technical but also intercultural skills through semesters abroad and internships abroad by offering them the opportunity to have these achievements recognized for their studies here.

In addition, some of our Bachelor's degree programs offer the opportunity to obtain a further degree at a foreign partner university in addition to the UAS degree. With the double degree, our graduates are interesting for both the German and the EU job market as well as for the job market in the country of the partner university. Through these double degree agreements with partner universities, the faculty also has many international guest students who have chosen Aachen for their stay abroad, a beautiful, historic and youthful city in the border region of Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands.
