Teaching Award of the FH Aachen
One of the highlights of the Teaching Day was the ceremonial awarding of the 2023 Teaching Prize. FH Aachen awards the Teaching Prize to full-time teaching staff, project teams or organisational units of the university in recognition of outstanding achievements in teaching. Since 2018, two teaching awards with different focuses have been announced. While there is a person-related teaching award, the other is focused on particularly innovative formats in teaching.
This year, the person-related teaching award went to Prof. Dr. Darius Mottaghy from the Faculty of Energy Technology. With the teaching award, the FH recognises Prof. Mottaghy's didactically outstanding courses and lectures as well as his special commitment to students and to the further development of teaching in the faculty.
Prof. Dr. Andreas Moosdorf from the Faculty of Business Studies received the teaching award with the dedication "Internationalisation, Digitalisation and Sustainability" for his outstanding and particularly practice-oriented teaching.
