You can expect an interesting and varied dual training programme in the Faculty of Information, Media and Electrical Engineering at Cologne University of Applied Sciences in Cologne-Deutz. Your practical training will take place in our research and development laboratory in the field of optical technologies, which has a broad qualification profile. You will be actively involved in research and development projects. You will gain practical experience in various programming languages. You will learn to mathematically formulate practical problems and design solution algorithms for them. You will implement and test these algorithms on the software side. The control and integration of sophisticated hardware components via PC-based systems will also be part of your work.
