Study programme variant - extra-occupational study
If you have already completed an IHK apprenticeship as a mathematical-technical assistant (MaTA) or as a mathematical-technical software developer (MaTSE), you can also study the Bachelor's degree programme in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science on an extra-occupational basis.
You can have achievements and skills acquired during your training or professional practice recognised for the degree programme.
A recognition committee appointed by the faculty advises the Examination Board on recognition, which then carries out the recognition. Further details on recognition can be found in the Recognition Regulations.
