• A certificate of general university entrance qualification (Abitur) entitles the holder to study the degree programme.

• Vocational training and work experience (university entrance qualification without the general university entrance qualification): Under certain conditions, you can also take up studies without a general university entrance qualification or a subject-linked university entrance qualification.
• Foreign university entrance qualification.
• With the entrance qualification for a university of applied sciences you can study anything at our university of applied sciences.
  
  But please take into account:
• Depending on the type of certificate, a six-month or full-year "practical part" is compulsory in addition to the "school part" for admission to the Fachhochschule (download PDF brochure of the state ministry).
• Some certificates outside the state of NRW may have to be recognised by a district government.
