Open Borders MBA
Take your Career to the Next Level
The executive degree programme "Open Borders MBA" has been offered since 2012. The English-language MBA is aimed at professionals who have already worked for at least three years after graduating from university and, ideally, have experience in a management position. The field of study of the university degree plays a minor part.
The Open Borders MBA is offered by FH Aachen in collaboration with the two renowned universities HEC Liège and UHasselt and is supported by the German-speaking Community of Belgium.
With a combined experience of well over 100 years in academic education, these universities have joined forces to offer a high-quality programme for executive personnel with a focus on international management.
The close interlocking of science and practice is particularly worth highlighting: professors guide the participants through the various wide-ranging topics. Experts from the business world provide current, practical case studies to enhance the theoretical content. The international orientation combined with an interregional focus is unique in this form for an MBA programme.
The extra-occupational Open Borders MBA prepares participants for the next stages of their career by offering a comprehensive overview of management skills. In addition to the specialised development, the expansion of the personal network also plays an important role, as people from different fields and cultural backgrounds come together.
Upon successful completion of the Open Borders MBA, participants are awarded not only the MBA certificate but also the Master's degree in Management from HEC Liège.
