Training for the teaching profession at vocational colleges includes relevant practical work of 12 months (24 months for FH Master's graduates). The practical training is not part of the teacher training programme, so the 12 (24) months are not counted towards the study volume. The practical training must be completed in full before entering the preparatory service; the majority should be completed before the degree.
