The UVigo International Staff Week 2025: "Transformative Education: Gender Equality and Institutional Change" promotes an international dialogue, facilitating the exchange of diverse ideas and viewpoints, while equipping participants with the skills to navigate the dynamic ecosystem of Higher Education.

The programme seeks to explore ways to integrate internationalisation across various aspects of the university, spanning from administrative frameworks to enhancing student mobility. During the Staff Week, participants will engage in daily sessions focused on specific topics, collaborating to examine methods for integrating internationalisation throughout the entire Higher Education ecosystem. Additionally, participants will have opportunities to interact with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, exchanging best practices, experiences and perspectives.

The University of Maribor invites you to the 17th International Week hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business, which will be held on 12th – 16th May 2025 in Maribor, Slovenia.

The purpose of the International Week is to enhance international collaboration with the partner institutions. The principal aim of this International Week is thus to increase student mobility and the recognition of the partner institutions among the students and academic staff by promoting international studies and international mentality to students.

ISW2025 - International Staff Week: Enhancing Internationalization in Higher Education Institutions | IMOTION

Registration: International Staff Week 2025 until May 19th, 2025

The course objective is to expose the students and faculty to new topics / latest technologies in Engineering and also to identify areas of possible joint Research by interaction with Vel Tech researchers and we will feel more privileged if you could accept our invitation. The course may be for the duration of 15 hours to 45 hours. Depending on the Course Title, awarding of credit may be decided. Minimum 30 hours of teaching expected. Preferably two 15 hours courses.

The course topic may fall under the broad streams of Engineering such as Mechanical Engineering (including Materials), Aeronautical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Civil Engineering. The exact topic may be mutually decided.

Students: From Undergraduate or Masters, based on the topic.

Evaluation: An examination to be conducted at the end and credits to be evaluated.

Course Material: To be made available to students in English.

Period: At least one week during January – March or July – October

Entitlements:
i. Travel by economy class to Chennai & back
ii. Hospitality at Chennai including stay at Vel Tech Guest House, food arrangements, and internal travel at Chennai.
