Dear students,
Due to the great demand for study places, there will be a major change starting 12 October 2020!
24 hours before the library opens at 9 a. m., you can reserve a study place in your branch library online.
The study place can be used during the entire opening hours. However, the reservation must be redeemed, in exchange for a study place card, at the counter by 11 a.m.! If the reservation has not been redeemed by 11 a.m., the right to the place will expire and will be passed on to interested parties at the location.
Due to hygiene and distance regulations, we can only offer individual places. We are not allowed to offer group workstations!
You can book a study place here (don't be surprised, you'll end up at University Sports of RWTH Aachen University - at this point, we would like to extend a big thank you to University Sports for providing us with their booking system for the reservation of study places!).
After 11 a.m., you can, as usual, check the occupancy rate of the study places via our Catalogue PLUS. For this, simply enter "Lernplatz" in the search slot. Should there still be places available, simply drop by and borrow a study place at the counter.
We hope that this provision will make it possible for you to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning instead of having to wait in a long queue in front of the library before it opens!
