University development planning and strategic management
We support the university management by developing concepts and recommendations for action. We advise on content-related, strategic and planning issues relating to university, faculty and location development planning on the basis of relevant data. On the basis of this data, we draw up the university development plan and support the faculties in the preparation of faculty development plans.
We focus on preparing and advising on structural decisions, supporting internal development and target discussions and university agreements with the ministry (e.g. future agreement on studying and teaching (ZSL), university agreement, etc.). We monitor political developments in the state, analyse their significance for FH Aachen and develop concepts for their implementation.
We plan the university's internal budget model in accordance with strategic considerations and the Rectorate's specifications and adapt it annually to new requirements.
We continue to develop the target and performance indicator system. It forms the basis for evaluations and analyses of management-relevant data and their development over time, as well as for reports for the Ministry. The data is made available via the data warehouse and/or in standardised reports and ad hoc evaluations.
