Conducting courses and lectures at the campus in Jülich and at the Eupener Straße site in
Aachen. Participation in the self-administration of the university, from 2008 to 2010 Vice Dean in
Faculty of Energy Technology and from 2010 to 2016 Dean of this faculty. During
this time, introduction of dual study programmes in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering
as well as the Master's degree programme "Energy Management Informatics" in cooperation with
well-known companies in the Aachen area and the foundation "Energy Informatics". Long-time member
of the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Energy Technology as well as the Senate of the University.

SINCE 09/2018 DIRECTOR FRESHMAN-INSTITUTE , IN-INSTITUTE OF FH AACHEN
Institute for the preparation of foreign students at the Geilenkirchen location as well as in the
framework of cooperation with institutes in Lebanon (Beirut) and Morocco (Fès and Kenitra).
Among other things, conducting the assessment test on behalf of the Cologne district government. Approx. 300
participants from up to 22 countries per year.
