FH Aachen is a participant in the current contract conclusions. The participating institutions pay a so-called PAR-fee (publish and read) on the basis of previous subscription payments. In return, authors at FH Aachen can publish in hybrid journals or at discounted APC in pure OA journals. During the trial period, the university library assumes the costs in a centralised manner.

Please note the following general framework conditions:

1.  You are the "corresponding author".
2. As "affiliation", you have indicated FH Aachen. When specifying your affiliation, it is important that it is clear whether you are publishing as a member of FH Aachen or as a member of a research institution, for example, in order to ensure that a publication is not funded by two institutions.
3. As soon as an article by an FH member has been accepted and is close to completion, the library will receive a message to confirm the affiliation with FH Aachen and, thereby, the authorisation.
