Apprenticeship Day 2017

On 19 October 2017, FH Aachen organised its 2nd Teaching Day with the focus on "Higher education didactics in development". Following on from the theme of the 1st Teaching Day, the 2nd Teaching Day on 19 October 2017 focused on higher education didactics, which accompanies and helps to shape this change in higher education teaching. Developments in higher education didactics were discussed retrospectively and future-oriented against the background of the digital age. This was done with close reference to teaching practice at universities and to the needs of teachers and students.

How can university didactics support teaching? Which developments - apart from digitalisation - are changing higher education didactics? How does higher education didactics change teaching and in what way does it shape the change of teaching? How can university didactics be tailored to the needs and target groups of the future?

These and other questions were discussed with a broad participation of teachers, students and university didactics.
