Counselling Focus
General Academic Counselling advises and supports pupils and all other prospective students in their choice and decision to study. During their studies, students can find help here with questions about their studies and difficulties in their study progress.

- Transfer to another university or degree programme
- Personal difficulties relevant to your studies
- Information about other counselling institutions and other universities
General Academic Counselling is a counselling service offered by Central Academic Counselling.
An overview of all counselling fields and contact persons as well as the programmes and projects can be found on the website of Central Academic Counselling.
As with all academic counselling services at state universities, Central Academic Counselling follows recognised standards in its counselling activities. Accordingly, it is
- individual, neutral, unbiased as to the result, and confidential!
Academic Counselling Newsletter
For teachers, parents and pupils interested in studying, the Student Advisory Service sends out a newsletter on study and career guidance four times a year.
It contains everything you need to know about information and counselling services at FH Aachen.
