FH Aachen is one of the strongest research universities of applied sciences in Germany. The scientists' expertise in our faculties and institutes lies primarily in the key research areas of energy and sustainable construction, mobility, life sciences, digitalisation and industrial production. In addition to research and teaching, the transfer of scientific knowledge to industry and society is one of our university's core tasks in order to make research results usable in a value-adding and sustainable way. To this end, FH Aachen's Innovation Transfer (IVT) connects the university's scientists with companies and social stakeholders and decision-makers from associations, local authorities, politics and networks.
