The subject area introduces itself
The Academic subject area is responsible for
- supporting and advising the university committees,
- officials, faculties and facilities of the university,
- for statute and regulatory law,
- publication management for the official newsletter (FH-Mitteilungen),
- for the university elections,
- for the student body and for general and fundamental academic matters.
A detailed assignment of tasks to the responsible employees can be found below.
Contact point for academic self-administration
- Office of the University Council
- Supervision of the Senate
- Legal and financial supervision of and contact point for the student body (student parliament, AStA)
- Supporting the student body in the creation, amendment and publication of statutes and regulations of the student body
- Drafting and publication of university regulations (basic regulations, enrolment regulations, election regulations, departmental regulations, rules of procedure, other university regulations)
- Specialist advice and support for university committees, officials, commissions and committees
- Management and organisation of university elections (Senate, Faculty Councils and Dean's Offices)
- Basic academic matters and advising faculties on overarching issues
